The Denver Gift, Home, Jewelry & Resort Show – August 14-19, 2008
The Denver Merchandise Mart holds its semiannual Gift, Home, Jewelry and Resort Show on August 14-19, with permanent showrooms open August 14-19 (Thursday through Tuesday) and temporary exhibits showing August 16-18 (Saturday through Monday).

New in August 2008!
In August 2008, the Denver Gift, Home, Jewelry & Resort Show is being held a week earlier due to the Democratic National Convention in Denver later in the month. The Mart has secured room blocks with all our preferred hotels. However, book your rooms early. As always, the Mart provides complimentary shuttles to and from our preferred hotels to the market.

This earlier date coincides with our Denver Apparel & Accessory Market, August 15-18, providing a unique opportunity for buyers with a wider variety of merchandise categories, including 100 ladies' and children’s apparel and accessory permanent showrooms.

The Denver Gift, Home, Jewelry & Resort Show is the region’s premier wholesale buying event for gift, jewelry, resort and related industries. Over 600 exhibitors representing 6000 lines present one of the largest selections of Native American, rustic, lodge-style, and western products in the country. Other product categories include general gift, collectibles, stationery/greeting cards, holiday & seasonal, licensed products, tabletop, gourmet, jewelry, country items, bed bath & linen, garden accessories, furniture, handcrafted and home accents, and unique regional lines – all under one roof. The show has available for immediate release one-of-a-kind, Native American, and other handcrafted merchandise in all media, plus a cash and carry section with categories such as personal care, jewelry, decorative accessories, and furniture.

Buyers shop the Denver Show for items not to be found elsewhere. Over 6000 buyers from the US and Canada who shop the Denver show include buyers for franchise/chain stores, independent/specialty stores, furniture and home accessory stores, and interior designers, as well as destination resort and tourist attractions, museum shops, hotel/airport gift shops, hospital gift shops, theme parks, and national parks.

In addition to its reputation for offering many items not found elsewhere, the Denver Show is well known for its buyer-friendly attitude. Our helpful information and concierge staff are on hand to answer questions, provide directions, track down lines, locate transportation, find restaurants — anything to help make a retailer’s trip as productive and pleasant as possible.

Amenities for buyers include free parking and free hotel shuttles, plus evening entertainment and networking events featuring complimentary buffets and live music. The Mart also offers orientation sessions for new retailers and for established buyers new to the Denver Show, plus a Buyers Lounge with free refreshments and coat/luggage check.

Also provided at no charge are our educational seminars featuring nationally known speakers; addressing emerging trends, retail display, and new markets, among other topics.

The Show is held at the Denver Merchandise Mart Complex encompassing the Mart, the Mart Pavilion, the Expo Building and the Plaza at the Mart. The Mart Complex is conveniently located off Interstate 25 and 58th Avenue, just one mile north of I-25 and I-70 interchange, at Exit #215.
