Showrooms range in size from 200–5,000 square feet. Access to the showrooms is strictly controlled and limited to qualified retail buyers. Resources are grouped by industry on the four floors of the Mart.

Trade shows are held in the Complex for the following major industries:
The Denver Merchandise Mart Gift, Jewelry & Resort Show—a major national show produced by the Mart and held twice each year.
The Denver Apparel & Accessory Market (co-sponsored by the Mart and the Denver Market Association)—held five times a year.
The Design Open House/TrendDays and other special events for interior designers and other industry professionals
The Denver International Western/English Apparel & Equipment Market—conducted twice a year by the Western & English Sales Association
The W.W.S.R.A. Ski Show and the Outdoor Sports Show—conducted by the Western Winter Sports Representatives Association

A few of the many services provided by the Mart to its showroom tenants include dock and porter services, mechanical, construction and housekeeping services, an on-site post office, free parking and in-house catering capabilities.
